Soy feliz al anunciaros que por fin queda inaugurada mi página web, mardelvalle.com.

Una nueva guarida, pulcra, blanca, gestionada por mí. Los que estáis acostumbrados al refugio oscuro y cálido de mi blog, no os asustéis: todo es parte de lo mismo, esto sólo son las cúpulas, sabéis, y hay unas vistas preciosas.

Aún me falta pulir algunos detalles: la sección "Tiendas", por ejemplo, por el momento sólo puede ser mostrada en español. Pero necesito ayuda informática externa para solucionarlo, lo cual puede llevar a un periodo de espera un poco absurdo; ya que, al fin y al cabo, tanto Etsy como Society6 resultan perfectamente accesibles desde los enlaces de redes.
Así que lancémonos: atravesad las puertas, dormid entre las flores, buscaos en los espejos (y luego me decís qué habéis hallado). Coged un pastelillo, tomemos un té. Bailemos como si nos fuera la vida en ello, como siempre.

My gorgeous beings:

I'm so happy to announce the launch of my website, mardelvalle.com.

This new den is neat, white, tidy, run by myself.  Those who are used to the dark and warm refuge that is my blog, please, don't be afraid: everything is part of the same thing, this is just the dome, you know, and it has such a marvelous view.

There are still some details left to fix: the "Shops" section, for example, is only available in Spanish for the moment. But I will need some extra (programmer) assistance with that, and it can take a while, and keeping the whole website hidden would be a bit absurd taking into account that both my Etsy and Society6 stores are perfectly accessible from the social network icons placed below.

So go through the gates, sleep among the flowers, search for yourself into the mirrors (and then tell me what you have found). Have a cake, enjoy a cup of tea. Let's dance like there is no tomorrow, as always.

Y cuidaos de las criaturas de los lirios, al menos que queráis danzar por el abismo (lo cual, debo señalar, me parece lo mejor que se puede hacer en este mundo).

Sweet Yule. Do whatever you are, whatever makes you happy, whatever makes your red heart bleed and howl.

And beware of the creatures among the irises, unless you are willing to dance along the abyss (which, I must point out, seems to me the best thing you could do in this world).

Ésta la comencé en abril; y ese mismo mes hubo de quedar interrumpida, coloreada a medias, hasta hace unos días.
Ahora está terminada, y, como suele pasar, las palabras para escoltarla llegaron a mí en el momento oportuno.

Así que defendedlo, mis criaturas.

PD: En cuanto a otros asuntos, debo señalar que Society6 vuelve a tener uno de sus periodos sin gastos de envío hasta este domingo. Por si algún ser inquieto los quiere aprovechar…

I began this one in April; and I had to left the process interrupted, unfinished, until some days ago.
Now she is completed and, as usual, the words to escort her came to me at the most timely moment.

So stand up for it, my creatures.

PD: Regarding other matters, I must mention that Society6 has one of its free shipping period thru this Sunday. So just in case some restless being wants to make the most of it…

A game of you

No sé si está acabada, me temo: eso dependerá de cómo se construyan las demás, caprichosas criaturas ellas.

Quien vea a la muchacha de cabello negro y piense en un levísimo personaje que aparece como un efímero resplandor al final de cierto arco argumental de The Sandman no andará muy desencaminado, lo confieso. Las grietas son las grietas. O puede que no os recuerde a nadie en absoluto, lo cual es también igual de válido.

Que ellas nos salven, las que construyeron reinos y fueron luego olvidadas del mundo. Al fin y al cabo, en esa suerte de arcoiris cristalizado fueron felices para siempre durante mucho, mucho tiempo, ¿no es así...?


(PD: En un orden de cosas completamente distinto, este viernes 28 Duendelirium ofrecerá otro concierto acústico. A quien pueda interesar…)

I don't know if it's finished, I'm afraid: it will depend on how the other illustrations construct themselves, they whimsical creatures.

Those of you who see this dark-haired young girl and think of a slight character who appears like an ephemeral glimpse at the end of certain nuanced plot of The Sandman series won't be too misguided, I must confess. The cracks are the cracks. Or it may be that she reminds you of nothing at all, which is equally valid too.

May they save us, those who built realms and were forgotten by the world afterwards. After all, inside that sort of crystallized rainbow they lived happily even after for a long, long time, didn't they…?
