Bologna Children's Book Fair

El pasado mes de marzo fui a la Feria del Libro Infantil de Bolonia, la más importante en este campo a nivel internacional. Me llevé un pequeño portfolio debajo del brazo y material promocional (que próximamente os mostraré), y también actué como intérprete de la ilustradora Marina Seoane.

Visitar esta feria es algo que hasta hace unos meses veía como una posibilidad tremendamente  lejana y, aunque haya sido un poco agotador, haber tenido la oportunidad es sencillamente increíble. Y provechoso…

Os adjunto unas fotos que se tomaron en el stand de SCBWI (Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators), repleto de gente muy agradable.


In March I went to Bologna Children’s Book Fair, the most important international event of this field. I carried a little portfolio with me along with some promotional items (that I will show you soon), and I also acted as an interpreter for the illustrator Marina Seoane.

Up to some months ago, visiting this fair was something that seemed only a remote possibility without predictable date of fulfillment; and though it has been a bit exhausting, having had the opportunity is simply amazing. And useful…

Y para los que me conocen más o me han visto personalmente: no, no estoy camuflada. Me gusta el marrón.
De verdad.
Desde hace mucho.
Que sí, caray.
Y además no sé por qué tengo que daros explicaciones al respecto, maldita sea.

(… Sé de al menos una persona que estará esbozando media sonrisa no exenta de sarcasmo al leer esto. Qué le vamos a hacer.)


And for those who know well or have met me personally: no, I am not camouflaged. I like brown color.
Really.
It’s been like this for years.
I said yes, dammit.
Besides, I don’t know why I should give any explanations to you, good Goddess. 

(… I know at least of one person that will be giving a hint of a sarcastic smile while reading this. Oh well.)
