Soy ilustradora, aprendiz de tatuadora, actriz y modelo alternativa. También soy feminista y queer. Actualmente resido en Madrid. Como toda criatura híbrida, siento fascinación por cualquier tipo de arte desde que era pequeña. También adoro bailar desaforadamente, los cómics subversivos, el otoño, los abismos, la lluvia y las hogueras; así como escuchar y cantar canciones intimistas, susurrantes y algo terribles.

Creo en el arte como en una forma de magia, un emblema, canción de cuna o arma afilada que debe gritar, rugir, reír o acariciar en nuestro nombre y hablar de todas esas cosas sobre las que no se habla. Adoro leer e ilustrar historias extrañas, y perderme entre las múltiples formas del mito, el esoterismo, el simbolismo, lo contemporáneo y lo ancestral. O también podría decirse que adoro dibujar mujeres badass y personajes profundamente queer desde una perspectiva interseccional, subversiva y diversa, casi siempre con un toque oscuro, ocultista y/o mitológico.

He ilustrado varias novelas juveniles. Cumplí un sueño de infancia ilustrando Rumbo a Thuban de Susana Fernández Gabaldón, e ilustré un cuento particularmente bonito de Teresa Blanch llamado Fan Tasmina y el Castillo de la Colina Verde. Más tarde pude desbocar mi pasión por lo tribal en una versión ilustrada de La Fuerza de los Fuertes de Jack London, y en 2016 tuve el inmenso placer de ilustrar la novela juvenil de ambientación greco-latina Rojo y Oro, escrita por las imbatibles Iria y Selene y publicada por Alfaguara. Actualmente, mi trabajo como ilustradora se centra mayoritariamente en encargos dentro de mi propio estilo y, cuando tengo tiempo, en crear obra personal que vendo en mis distintas tiendas como originales o estampadas en una gran variedad de artículos. Tengo una tienda en Redbubble y una en Etsy, y como dormir es de cobardes también diseño y llevo la tienda de una marca de camisetas bastardas e insurgentes creada junto a Alana Portero llamada The Slut Army.

Como actriz, concibo la interpretación como inmolación y el teatro como liturgia. Tuve la suerte de encontrar otras almas que tenían esas mismas ideas disparatadas y salvajes, y con ellas co-fundé la compañía teatral multidisciplinar STRIGA donde, además de actuar, canto mis canciones terribles y me ocupo del diseño gráfico, la página web y demás aspectos relacionados con la imagen.

También trabajo como modelo alternativa. El último proyecto amplio en el que he participado ha sido La habitación de las ahogadas, inspirado en el exquisito poemario homónimo de Alana Portero.

I’m a Spanish queer feminist illustrator, tattoo apprentice, actress and alternative model. I feel fascination for all kinds of art since I was a tiny animal. I also love to dance wildly, read subversive comics, autumn, abysses, rain and bonfires; and I love to sing and listen to intimate, whispering and a bit terrible songs.

I strongly believe that art is a form of magic, an emblem, a lullaby or a weapon that must shout, roar, laugh or caress in our name, and speak about all those voices and things that must be heard and seen. I love to illustrate strange stories, and getting hopelessly lost amongst dark, mythological, esoteric, symbolic, ancient and contemporary stuff. Or you could say that I love to draw badass ladies and utterly queer characters from a feminist and intersectional perspective, usually with a dark, occult and/or mythological touch.

I have illustrated several young adult books (take a look here), as well as an edition of Jack London’s “La Fuerza de los Fuertes” (“The strength of the Strong”). In 2016 I illustrated “Rojo y Oro”, a young adult fantasy novel inspired by the Greco-Roman culture, written by Iria G. Parente and Selene M. Pascual and published by Alfaguara (Penguin Random House). At this moment, my work focuses mainly on commissions within my own style and, when I have time, I also create personal work that I sell on my shops, being as original art or printed on lots of different products. I have a Redbubble shop and an Etsy store, and also manage a bastard and insurgent shop of T-shirts designed by myself called The Slut Army.

As an actress, I understand performing as an immolation and theatre as a liturgy. I was lucky enough to find some other souls that cherished the same crazy ideas, and together we founded the theatre company and multidisciplinary collective STRIGA, where I perform, sing my terrible songs, design and take charge of our website and other image-related matters.

I also work as a model. The last long project I have taken part in has been "La habitación de las ahogadas", inspired by the poetry book written by Alana Portero.
