"Sublime", de Muriel Dal Bo

Estimados míos:

Me escapo un momento de mis deberes universitarios para haceros partícipes de una nueva alianza.

Muriel Dal Bo, creadora polifacética (ilustradora, decoradora, novelista, fotógrafa, directora y técnico de cine…) concibió en septiembre una nueva línea de diseño de ropa. Inspirada por la búsqueda filosófica y estética de los románticos que guía su propia ansia vital, Muriel Dal Bo bautizó a esta nueva marca con el nombre de Sublime.

Me siento muy honrada de que Muriel haya elegido hacerme partícipe de sus creaciones y sus ideas: me dijo que veía en mí y en mi búsqueda vital ciertas características de su propia concepción de lo sublime. Quiere que sea la persona que encarne las ideas de la marca, y que porte algunas de sus exquisitas confecciones. Y creedme, eso resulta sumamente halagador, y sumamente bello.

En octubre del año pasado participamos en un desfile que tuvo lugar en la Semana Gótica de Madrid. Conocí gente maravillosa, y fue inolvidable. Según vayan surgiendo otros eventos iré dando parte de ellos aquí.

Así que aquí estoy, recorriendo con Muriel este camino nuevo.

Y me encanta, y va a ser tan divertido.

My dear ones:

I’m escaping a moment from my university duties to share with you a new alliance.

Muriel Dal Bo, multifaceted creator (illustrator, decorator, writer, photographer, film director...) conceived in September a new line of fashion design. Inspired by the philosophical and aesthetic search of the Romantics that rules her own life, Muriel Dal Bo gave this new brand the name Sublime.

I am much honored that Muriel has chosen to share with me her creations and ideas: She told me that she saw in me and in my life experience certain characteristics which agreed with her own concept of the sublime. She wants me to be the one who embodies her ideas and her brand, she wants me to wear some of her exquisite clothing. And believe me, this is extremely flattering, and extremely beautiful.

In October last year we participated in a fashion show that took place during the Madrid Gothic Week. I met some wonderful people, and it as unforgettable. As other events related with Sublime come up, I will announce them here.

So here I am, following with Muriel this new path.

And I love it, and it’s going to be so funny.
