Apocalypse, please

Descubrí casi por casualidad unas fotos de un joven con una anatomía espléndida y unas vestiduras deliciosamente steam-punk, aunque con ciertos toques tribales, hermosos. Una foto en concreto, de un clima apocalíptico, me sedujo por completo: parecía un dibujo en sí misma.
No pude evitar intentarlo.

I discovered almost by chance some photos of a young man who had an splendid anathomy and deliciously steam-punk clothing, with some tribal shade, beautiful. One specific photo, of an apocalyptic atmosphere, completely captivated me: It looked like a drawing itself.
I couldn´t help trying.

Apuntes V

Recientemente inspirada por los dibujos de Alphonse Mucha expuestos en el CaixaForum de Madrid. Allí descubrí unos bocetos bellísimos, apenas divulgados, que han pasado prácticamente desapercibidos ante aplastante fama de sus carteles.
Personalmente, la línea exquisita y expresiva de Mucha en los lápices me fascinó mucho más que sus sobreexplotadas litografías.

Lo que significa que me muero por hacer bocetos otra vez.



Recently inspired by the exposition dedicated to Alphonse Mucha at the Caixaforum of Madrid.There I discovered some beautiful sketches, hardly divulgued, that have gone practically unnoticed given the overwhelming fame of his posters.
Personally, the exquisite and expressive line present in Mucha's drawings fascinated me much more that his overexploited lithographies.

That means that I'm dying to do sketches again.
